Thank you to all those who contributed to our story submission campaign! A panel has been assembled to carefully consider each contribution and all writers will be contacted soon with the results.

We are creating a new live show built from the personal stories of members of the 2SLGBTQ communities across Canada, and touring these stories to cities across the country where queerness is less visible. Please click here for examples of past storytellers, as originally heard on the CBC's Q, and visit our 'Stories' page for written examples.  And if you have a story about a song that was a companion while you were in the closet, or that helped you come out, a song you fell in love to or that is connected to your queer experience in another way, please write us at info@queersongbook.com
Selected stories will receive a $200 honorarium and be included in our live show this fall, from the Yukon to Newfoundland.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS FRIDAY AUGUST 10
**Please note, all submitted stories will find a permanent home in the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives and be available to future researchers**
